Description
My rejected entry to the AC Carte Blanche Section. My Japanese Assassin
I'm not surprised, I expected as much, they expect the cream of the crop, I assume near-perfection pieces, and mine was somewhat flawed in some areas, but I loved the challenge of actually putting a lot of effort into the design etc.
The contest actually made me put more effort into this piece than I normally would have, so it was actually the most fun I've had doing a piece in a while.
I'm super proud of this piece, I pretty much rounded off and finished his design and improved it in some areas...

I love how everyone thinks Japanese assassins would always carry katanas when they are military weapons. They would probably be using ninjatos as they are suited better for assassination missions. But it's fine, sometimes you would get the odd ninja samurai or ninjas posing as samurai, so maybe it would be a temporary weapon.
