This is as awesome as a Wild West Assassin taking down a corrupt sheriff Templar. This is totally how the Templar in Japan would look like. I am so upset that the next Assassin's Creed is not in Feudal Japan or the Wild West, hell even an Egyptian setting has potential. The only interesting thing that I can think of in the next Assassin's Creed game is climbing up Notre Dame.
I must say that after visiting Paris the background might be a really impressive one, Notre Dame is going to be great, but there are many other places that will be really good, it is a big city, and really beautiful. I'd love a japanesse assassin's creed that's why I made this drawing some years ago, but apart from the big pagodas the background wouldn't be that impressive in the builging part. Of course I know that japanesse feudal castle and towers or temples are awesome, I love them, in this drawing you can see what is supposed to be Himeji castle, but in proportion Paris has more impressive buildings in less space.
Having said this, I also prefer a game in feudal japan than in paris, because even if buildings wouldn't be that good, the gameplay could be completely refreshed to make it entertaining in any place, castle mountains or forest, they started to do this in AC3 but for me they didn't achieve the level of movement freedom the natural landscapes require.
