Link is using the Fairy Bow; the Hover Boots, the item of this dungeon: Shadow Temple, which allows Link to walk in the air some steps, and the Lens of Truth, which allows Link to see invisible things, in this case we see the part of Bongo Bongo's body that Link sees though the lens.
As allways I've tried to be as loyal as posible to the design of the original game from Nintendo 64 rather than using oficial ilustration as reference.
We have Bongo Bongo, Dead Hand, Wall Master (whom I believe is Master Hand with his GLOVE OFF)...
This is why I love Zelda fan artists, they create some of the highest caliber fanart I have seen in most any series.
Kill it with fire, Link...
At any rate, the entire "battle collection" is quite impressive. Definitely a lot of attention devoted to each one, which I can really appreciate. Great work.
Thanks for the kind words, it's been some time since the last one, but I think there will be another one in less than two months, I'm finally getting time for myself after years and this collection needs to be finished before it gets old!
(How much I hate this boss... (- . -'))
I love this!!! Wish I could do stuff like this (`･ω･´)
By the way I´ve been listening to some of your songs, and it is awesome to have a place to watch and hear them because me and my brother both play instruments and love Zelda's music! This scores look great because they are not like a billion voices and I can hear and read them without even downloading them or using Finale. So thanks for the comment and thanks for the music
so that's how he did it...
This has got to be one of the most kickass pieces of art I've ever seen.
Seriously, the attention to detail, the blur of Bongo Bongo's other hand, the Lens of Truth attached to his bow, the halo showing what you would see through it, Navi acting as his guide in the dark for God's sake! It all comes together to make something both intimidating and memorable.
